More green shoots spell good news for the region, its Marketers and Forward Role!

It was great to see some more positive stats about growth and confidence in the job market in the North this week from a KPMG survey The Insider reported on:

"The number of workers placed in permanent positions across the North of England increased sharply in June and was a further indicator of improvement in the UK economy.
The pace of expansion in the regions also accelerated to the quickest in six months and was the second fastest among all four English regions, behind the south. At the UK level, permanent staff appointments expanded at the quickest pace in over two years.
Recruitment consultants in the north signalled increased temporary billings in June, taking the current expansionary sequence to 11 months."

This has been a trend that Forward Role have been experiencing across its Digital, Marketing, Analytics and Creative markets; with many of our bigger clients growing their teams across these areas significantly this year, whilst many of our smaller clients look to take advantage of the opportunity the digital channel continues to present.

Forward Role Managing Director; Steve Thompson reported figures on the firm's performance this week which reflected this trend in the market. "We've had a fantastic financial year with turnover up 334% on last year, and Gross Profit up 291%. We'd like to thanks all of our clients for their business and all of our candidates for representing us so professionally. We look forward to continuing this growth in our next financial year and have ambitious plans to make that happen".
