Forward Role shortlisted for prestigious national recruitment award
We are delighted to hear that Forward Role has been nominated for a national award!
You might remember a few weeks back the story of Anastasia Glover, the ambitious graduate who sent our MD a grime rap along with her CV, hoping to bag herself a job in marketing.
So impressed by her creative thinking, Steve shared the letter on LinkedIn but could not have predicted what would happened next. Within days the post had been shared and viewed more than 400,000 times and Anastasia’s application was being talked about by the BBC, the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph!
Now the campaign to get Anastasia a job has been nominated in the ‘Best Candidate Attraction Through Social Media’ category at the Global Recruiter Awards UK.
“We’re over the moon to have made the shortlist for such a significant award,” Steve said. “We’re passionate about helping talented graduates find their perfect roles and, in the case of Anastasia, it was great to see someone making a real effort to stand out from the crowd.
“We’re confident that Anastasia has a really bright future ahead of her and we’re proud to have played a part in that.
“The Global Recruiter Awards are well regarded in the industry and to be recognised in this way is brilliant. We’ve got some stiff competition for the title, but if we win, it’ll be the icing on the cake.”
The awards will be handed out in a glitzy ceremony at Café de Paris, in London, on 21st June. Wish us luck!
