The business world has fundamentally changed, these unprecedented times mean that organisations need to adapt their recruitment processes in order to keep pace with the ever-evolving situation around us.

Employee Value Proposition (EVP) refers to the rewards and benefits received by employees in return for their skills and experience. 

So, what can a company offer to encourage the acquisition and retention of great talent?  

The MSG (Management Study Guide) describes EVP as ‘creating a balance of rewards and recognition in return to an employee’s performance at workplace.’ 

These days, it’s more than just a good salary, pool tables and bean bags - it’s more about personal development opportunities, health and wellbeing support, solid health insurance, flexible work/life balance, employee discounts, team incentives and access to a bonus scheme to name a few. These additional benefits are certainly important during the current pandemic, candidates are looking for stability and support from their employers.
