Digital Revolution is Manchester Digital's annual conference now in it's 4th year & taking place on the 2nd November 2018.
 
Digital Revolution is where we look at global trends and events and understand the impact that they will have on our regions digital and technology businesses in the coming years.
 
It is a great chance to network with like-minded individuals who are motivated by progress and want to get a glimpse into the future of their businesses. 
 
Tickets are now on sale and are priced at £12 + VAT for Manchester Digital members and £24 + VAT for non-members.

Our panel of experts will discuss which technologies are the most valuable to Manchester and where we are showing genuine strength.

There will be an engaging debate amongst the panelists before we open it up to the audience for Q&A.

The Techlash: in conversation with Carl Miller.

Hosted by Michael Taylor, Manchester Metropolitan University

Carl is author of The Death of the Gods: The New Global Power Grab. Carl is also the Research Director of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media (CASM) at Demos. The session will look at how technology is damaging democracy; the risk to our homes and jobs and the effect of the shifting economic models on society and individuals. The session will provide fascinating insight into how traditional power is being diminshed by technology and who really holds the power now.
