Digital Revolution is Manchester Digital's annual conference now in it's 4th year & taking place on the 28th September 2018.
 
Digital Revolution is where we look at global trends and events and understand the impact that they will have on our regions digital and technology businesses in the coming years.
 
It is a great chance to network with like-minded individuals who are motivated by progress and want to get a glimpse into the future of their businesses. 
 
Tickets are now on sale and are priced at £12 + VAT for Manchester Digital members and £24 + VAT for non-members.

This session will reflect on some highlights for the industry over the last 12 months and we will we take a good look at the GM Digital Strategy and discuss if it will really deliver the changes and advancements that we collectively need to become a leading global digital/tech city.

Technology is currently seen as being at the root of many societal ills; whether damaging democracy by creating platforms that can be manipulated for political gain, taking over our jobs and homes or our obsessive use of devices  - the average user touches their phone 2,617 times a day. This panel looks at whether we are merely going though a period of adaptation or if we really need to alter our current course and take more control over what technology means for our future.

Emerging Technologies: the recent report released by Tech Nation claims that Manchester is a ‘Blockchain Hub’ and we are beginning to develop a strong reputation in healthcare, cyber, analytics, IoT and AI. This session delves into how true these claims are and also challenges the industry to set out what it believes are our regional strengths and how we should position ourselves in a global setting.
