Girls in Marketing are hosting their first in-person event: Get Social IRL sponsored by Adobe Express!

There will be lots of practical and fun marketing tasks, from branding briefs to campaign competitions, you’ll get the chance to put your skills to the test and win some prizes.

What’s happening on the day?

Check the list below for a quick breakdown of the event. You’ll get more details when you sign up!

• 10am - 10:30am: Event registration

• 10:30am - 11am: Welcome from the team

• 11am-12pm: Task 1: Build a Brand

• 12pm - 1pm: Lunch & snacks!

• 1pm - 3pm: Task 2: Create a Killer Social Media Campaign

• 3pm - 4:30 pm: Chatting, snapping some pics & winners ceremony!

• 4:30pm+: Networking

What is included in my ticket?

• Entry to the venue

• Inclusion in all activities at the event

• Lunch (soup & a baguette - veggie, vegan, halal options available)

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself! Oh, you will need to bring a laptop, iPad, tablet, or phone so you can get involved with the tasks too.​
