Get started with coding in a relaxed and supportive environment, with workshops led by the same people that deliver the industry-leading Developer Pathway coding bootcamp.
This Introduction to Programming course runs from 6-9pm across two evening sessions: Thursday 3rd October and Tuesday 8th October.
Please note: You will need to bring your own laptop to both sessions.
Session 1
Build your own computer game! They'll introduce you to your first programming concepts over some pizza, and help you tie them together to make an interactive game. Over the course of the session, you'll learn about JavaScript data types and how to write "if this... then that!" logic.
Session 2
Harness the power of your computer! They will delve into bulk operations and some core principles that professional programmers use every single day. They will cover objects and arrays, creating loops and even have a peek at functions...
