'It's only words', as your man Ronan Keating once said. And in a world that's increasingly visual, in a time where people apparently 'read less', is the written word (specifically in ads) dead?
To argue the case, we've got two amazing creative women speaking at tonight's event. Leanne Challinor, word lady extraordinaire and the Young Creative Council's latest BADASS GAL, and Katie Reeves, Creative Director of Jaywing and all-round powerhouse.

If, like me, you find this hard to believe, then this is the group for you. I've met so many bright, inspiring women working in the advertising industry here in Manchester, that I wanted to create a casual occasion for us to get together and hear from inspiring guest speakers, chat about work we love, work we don't, and most importantly, get to know each other over a drink or two!
So whether you're a suit or a creative, a student looking to break into the industry or an old hand, come along with an open mind, and ambition so vertical you could use it as a barge pole. Looking forward to meeting you!
