BI Developer

£35,000 - £45,000

Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Manchester office

Forward Role are working with a leading ecommerce retailer business who are looking to expand their Business Intelligence team. Due to an increase in demand and plenty of upcoming projects, the business are currently looking for a BI Developer to join their team.

As a BI Developer, you will play a key role in the innovative, fast-paced technology focussed culture. You will support the team to champion and drive the tech focussed vision of the business. You will be an experienced BI developer who can effectively communicate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide insight through reporting. You will be skilled in ETL and ideally have previous Data Migration experience.

What do we need from you?

• Proven experience as a BI Developer working with large data sets
• Understanding of data integration, data migration and data warehousing
• Strong experience with SQL Server/T-SQL
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages/tools -SSIS, SSRS
• Strong experience using a BI Platform – Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc 
• Development of data models
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and present data findings
• Strong understanding of data pipelines/ETL solutions
