Job Title: BI Developer

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Location: Greater Manchester

Role Type: Hybrid – 2 days a week on-site

My client, an established national retailer are looking for a BI Developer with over 2+ years’ experience to join their expanding team, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career with brilliant routes for progression and development.

Responsibilities:

⭐ Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical requirements, ensuring alignment between data solutions and business needs.

⭐ Analytical Solution Development: Design, test, and implement analytical solutions that empower analysts to extract valuable insights from data.

⭐ Data Model Ownership: Take ownership of both new and existing data models, ensuring their development and maintenance to support analytical processes.

⭐ Modernization Efforts: Refactor existing processes to migrate them to a modern data platform architecture, improving data accessibility and efficiency.

⭐ Alignment with BI Strategy: Ensure that development efforts are in line with the overall Business Intelligence (BI) strategy, contributing to the organization's data-driven goals.

⭐ Data Governance and Documentation: Implement a data governance framework, manage the lifecycle of data models, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Additionally, offer input and advice to enhance BI team processes and practices.
