Are you an Executive level marketer up for the challenge of progressing and growing a not-for-profit organisation in the property sector? This role will provide a senior B2C marketer with an exceptional opportunity to lead the charge in accelerating growth, overseeing a large and diverse team across marketing, regional representatives and the customer contact centre and also to leave a legacy in a thriving friendly organisation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, using a data-driven approach that drives revenue, acquisition, engagement and retention.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with the CEO and Executive team members to establish the short, medium, and long-term strategy for all directorate activities
  • Provide strategic direction and delivery of the membership and other revenue targets
  • Evolve the brand strategy to enhance the organisation’s presence in the marketplace
  • Increase revenue through improved member acquisition and retention
  • Full oversight and delivery of the digital marketing strategy
  • Leadership of an efficient Membership team that reflects and shapes member experience and is focused on growth
  • Work with partners and other stakeholders to create products and services to meet member and landlord needs
  • Responsible for customer success and improving high service standards
  • Working with the Executive Team, ensure member platforms and access keeps pace with market needs
  • Take responsibility for the look and content of the website(s) and social media outlets, maximising visitor conversion
  • Understand and use market segmentation and profiling to create member experience to match needs
  • Drive change across the organisation with regards to elements such as social media or digitisation
  • Leadership of the events and regional network team focusing firmly on growth and member engagement
  • Provide strong leadership and support to managers and staff - role modelling a customer-centric approach which inspires and motivates
  • Adopt a style of leadership that supports excellence and organisational success, creating a culture of continuous improvement, growth and innovation
  • Develop team capabilities to support strategic initiatives and deliver objectives
  • Be proactive in providing the Board and the Executive Team with the necessary information to maintain effective oversight of directorate plans
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external control requirements directorate activity
  • Ensure directorate compliance with key policy and procedure in areas such as health and safety; equalities and diversity; data protection; code of conduct and all other statutory requirements, which are routinely checked for compliance

Person required:

The ideal candidate will need to bring with them experience in an Executive / Board level position. An analytical and creative thinker is required, with a passion for innovation, and a style that supports excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Executive team leadership experience including evidence of shaping strategy and delivering tactical execution
  • Proven recent success in strategic Marketing and Business Growth activity and performance marketing
  • Evidence of achievement in Digital Marketing across complex customer focussed organisations
  • Experience in market segmentation and creating member experience to match needs
  • Demonstrable experience of managing customer success contact centre teams
  • A track record of leading, engaging and motivating diverse professional staff through change
