CRM Assistant



Hybrid working (2 days in the office and 3 remote)

Forward Role are working with an award winning Professional Services business to recruit a CRM Assistant.

With nationwide offices, they are a UK based business with a global reach. Their expertise covers diverse sectors such as real estate and construction, financial services, government, education, insurance, health, manufacturing and industrials, energy and infrastructure, retail, consumer, and logistics.

They use the CRM system, InterAction, to store client relationship data and manage client interactions. It acts as a centralized source for client relationship activity and acts as a valuable tool for making actionable reports. Their CRM system allows targeted marketing campaigns by ensuring the right audience receives relevant communications.

This role focuses on supporting the management of the CRM system and the businesses engagement with it. It plays a pivotal role in their overall strategy, particularly in their commitment to being a connector and advancing their client and marketing strategies.


  • Oversee the CRM Team inbox, addressing various matters and requirements.
  • Handle data imports from third-party systems, as well as their webinar and finance platforms, to enrich their data sets.
  • Carry out routine data cleaning exercises to eradicate mistakes and copies from the system.
  • Complete simple administrative responsibilities
  • Generate mailing lists based on business requirements, capturing applicable target audiences for email marketing campaigns.
  • Support the growth and delivery of CRM system reporting competences.
  • Help with training stakeholders at all levels on best practices for using the CRM system.
  • Support the client relationship team on wider initiatives when needed.

What you will need:

  • Previous experience using a database platform and handling large data sets
  • Experience with a CRM Database is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional organization and planning skills, continuously upholding high standards in routine tasks
  • Passion for CRM data-driven marketing and a want to learn and develop in this area
  • Ability to work proactively and effectively, hitting targets
  • Able to think outside of the box when it comes to problem-solving
  • Team player, keen to work together with colleagues across different levels and teams
