Through centralising it’s functions, the company now operate efficiently and are hugely successful across UK, Ireland and Europe. There is now a huge focus on the customer, and massive investment in to the ongoing digital transformation to become an ecommerce led, customer focused business.
The Customer Insight Team is newly established to drive a deep understanding of the customer base and their behaviours, feeding insight in to the wider Marketing team to create the most relevant and targeted campaigns. With a recent investment in a new customer data platform and a huge digital transformation project, this is a very exciting time to join the business.
As a Senior Customer Insight Analyst, you will be driving data discovery, identifying trends and providing insight on the customer, marketing campaigns website performance, and business KPIs. You will be identifying trends in customers behaviours and purchasing patterns, and creating customer segmentations. You will then be driving this information and insight to be utilised in the day to day running of the business.
Role & responsibilities:
Deliver insight to stakeholders across the business; coach, support and guide managers on how this insight can be leveraged to drive business performance
Utilise customer analysis to increase effectiveness of marketing campaigns and website performance
Using data and analysis to discover and recommend strategies for customer retention and customer acquisition
Regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting for the executive and senior management team – presenting of findings and insights
Managing and developing a small team of junior analysts
Skills & Experience:
2+ years’ experience in a similar Data Insights Analyst role
Experience in marketing, customer, campaign or e-commerce analysis
Experience with SQL is essential, and other programmes are desirable (SAS, SPSS, R, Python)
Ability to work with large data sets and identify trends and areas of opportunity
Driving insight and making commercially driven recommendations to the wider business
Google Analytics experience / experience working with ecommerce data is desirable but not essential
