Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS

My client is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the company working closely with the team of Software Engineers building high-end enterprise digital solutions and custom developed applications for large multi-national clients.

As the Senior DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the AWS infrastructure and CI/CD, leveraging the benefits of infrastructure as code. You will be a proactive champion for DevOps within the company, raising improvement with new technologies! Adhering to architecture principles for deployments and maintenance and provide mentorship to the team.

Essential experience:

Advanced knowledge of AWS infra as code, preferably Terraform (otherwise Cloudformation)
Good hands on experience with AWS
Understanding of operating systems especially linux
Understanding of Unix Command Line, Bash, CRON
Exp with CI/CD pipelines with code pipeline and Git
Container creation and management - Kubernetes/Docker/EKS/ECS
Working in an ISO9001/27001 business/principles
Proven delivery skills
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
