Digital Content Marketing Manager

This award winning ecommerce giant really are operating at the forefront of digital retailing, with a 25-strong in-house marketing team you will report into a talented expert in the Brand and Creative market who both will give you all the support, tools, time & resources to make you a success in this pivotal role.

With the support of a PR and Social Media Executive and couple of external agencies (SEO, PR, Content and Design) that you will be managing, this role will take ownership of the businesses content marketing strategy and campaigns. You will be creativity focussed and will be able to bring the brand to life through Content Marketing (web, blog, email and product descriptions), SEO and Social Media and Digital PR! You will be able to drive strategy and will have some elements of being hands-on within content creation at some point of your career as this role is more around bringing the content strategy together and briefing your team and external agencies to execute it.  

As the Digital Content Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

  • The creation and deliver for the strategy across content, social, digital PR, SEO and website with the support of your team and external agencies.
  • Develop and manage a best in class Content Marketing strategy to maximise our onsite and offsite potential
  • Producing highly relevant content for our customer base across all categories and platforms, including areas like our blog, product trends, video content (including things like reels) and other campaign content.
  • Understating market insights and trends to ensure we are the best of what we do so we will need you to use this data information to create eye catching content through storytelling and inspiring our customers to shop with us.
  • Brief your team about new ideas and concepts and manage the external agency partners to implement the campaigns that are required and to expand our social media coverage through cool content ideas and campaigns which will include more video and reels in line with the latest trends within social media platforms.
  • Maximising our strategy performance across core channels in PR, Content and SEO to bring a holistic approach across a range of metrics to drive traffic and conversion and ultimately help towards our revenue targets
  • Working closely with a front end developer and agencies to coordinate technical SEO roadmap, identifying issues and recommend changes.
