Digital Marketing Executive

Job Description:

This is an ideal position for a motivated individual with experience in across all aspects of digital marketing. 

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Executive will manage the company's digital platforms and drive delivery of online marketing activity and customer digital communications. 

The role is based in Liverpool city centre.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver company’s digital strategy including creation and curation of digital content, webinars, email marketing, online advertising and social media
  • Implement customer-facing email marketing, constantly monitoring KPIs and feedback mechanisms
  • Implement customer-facing digital communications including newsletters, invitations to events etc
  • Implement the company’s social media presence and develop content and initiatives to drive brand engagement and website traffic from Twitter, LinkedIn etc
  • Manage the development of the Group company website and Content Management System (currently WordPress) in line with business requirements and overall corporate identity
  • Manage the content of the company website, including regular news updates, content required by the businesses and landing pages to support marketing campaigns
  • Increase website traffic through online channels, including SEO and PPC
  • Develop appropriate reporting metrics and procedures to measure site traffic and evaluate and analyse traffic to produce management information and recommendations
  • Work with external digital design agencies where appropriate on ad-hoc digital assets eg Storytools, ROI Calculators etc
  • Manage efficient processing of leads and contacts from website forms and marketing activities

Skills Required:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Digital Marketing Executive, implementing and managing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns with a sound understanding of SEO and PPC.
  • Email campaign management tools
  • CMS – WordPress or Magento
  • Adobe CS – specifically Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Google Analytics
  • SEO
  • PPC – Google AdWords, Bing, social advertising etc.
  • Webmaster tools
  • Excellent understanding of A/B and champion challenger testing
  • Excel
