Digital Marketing Manager

Digital Marketing Coordinator, £25-30k, East Manchester

Forward Role are delighted to be working with a hugely well-established brand who consistently partner with reputable businesses and once sponsored Manchester City football club.

They are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Coordinator to join their European Head Office in Manchester to work with the business and all European offices to offer guidance and support on digital best practice. Their new Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the digital teams and developers to manage the development backlog and define requirements.


    • You will be eager to work in a digital environment and want to learn and challenge yourself every day. 
    • Work with the team (internal/ external / onshore / offshore) to help define project scope, project documentation, user stories, development estimates and plans to ensure activities can be delivered
    • Be the advocate and the educator on digital best practices and processes throughout the whole company - with a specific focus on CMS page build, support and training
    • Monitoring and supporting all local offices digital performance
    • Working with the Digital Marketing team and local offices to develop & implement initiatives to support Pan Europeanstrategy and roadmap
    • Working with UX team (internal and external) on site improvements / features
    • Support UX lead with the management, set up and coordination of A/B, CRO & Personalisation tests to support conversion metrics.
    • Create pages and upload visual and copy assets to the CMS system – and localise throughout Europe.
    • Be the main go to digital coordinator to provide information and support for a range of local offices.
    • Support the business in a multitude of digital marketing tasks as and when necessary
    • CRM support – including campaign testing, set up, training & reporting

Essential requirements:

    • A degree or relevant qualification in a digital marketing / related subject
    • CMS experience
    • Experience of analytics and SEO tools (GA, Data studio, search console etc)
    • General understanding of UX and UI, A/B testing & CRO
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong organisational / project management skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Good general computer skills – Microsoft Office

Desirable requirements:

    • Experience of working on global / multilingual/ multi node sites
    • Awareness of tech stacks and development standards - HTML, CSS, .net
    • Experience of enterprise CMS platforms such as Sitecore
    • CRM experience
    • Experience of task management & comms tools such as JIRA/ Teams
    • Knowledge or scrum or agile methodologies
    • Adobe / Photoshop experience
    • Extra European languages
