Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning Lead

North Yorkshire

35 Hours Monday to Friday (Hybrid working)

Up To £48,000

Forward Role are working with a well-established, dynamic business in North Yorkshire who pride themselves on their dedication for helping their customers to the highest standard.

As a Digital Marketing Planner you will be commercially focussed and be an expert in planning a digital marketing strategy that pulls leads from the correct target audience, uses contact strategies to retain their interest and convert. You will have a good understanding of all digital channels and be able to maintain a good balance between what is best for the business and the customers.

This is a fantastic chance to help influence the future of the business by developing marketing plans that are insight driven with attention on ROI. At the centre of this role are performance measurement and Test and learn strategies.

Responsibilities

  • To provide the most up-to-date thinking when it comes to evolving customer behaviour, to design digital marketing plans that are made with customers in mind, line up with the corporate plan and provide quantifiable results.

  • Push forward and grow the digital marketing strategy for a specific part of the business and take control when it comes to providing performance metrics to assist decisions on the main marketing investments and choices needed to deliver against key Commercial plan.

  • Together with the Senior Marketing leader you will manage your departments marketing strategy and use your industry insight and knowledge to guide how it progresses.

Ideal Candidate

  • You will need to be able to focus on detail as well as see the bigger picture

  • A degree level education and/or substantial experience in producing digital marketing plans that are supported by insight and analysis.

  • Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels, paid social, digital content strategies, PPC, email and display for lead generation and acquisition.

  • Be able to provide a persuasive rationale and be ready to challenge when necessary

  • Organisational skills are key to coordinate various teams across the business

  • You need be able to bring your ideas to life and motivate the campaign team to implement the plans set out. 

  • Be able to demonstrate how to you have advanced contact strategies through both direct mail and email as well as retargeting online to develop conversion and consideration. 

  • Previous experience in a regulated environment would be beneficial
