Our client, a leading Financial Services Business in South Manchester, is looking to recruit a Direct Marketing Manager to join their Marketing team.
The role responsibilities include:
Pre and Post campaign analysis to inform business decisions to increase overall ROI.
Interpret results and make recommendations for DM activity based on findings.
Proactively and independently undertake regular reporting within agreed criteria set by line manager.
Day to day management of Email and SMS campaigns.
Management and implementation of monthly DM offline campaigns.
Management of budget lines against activity.
Management of supplier relationships.
Regular reporting on activity to demonstrate attribution, results and returns, and using results for continuous improvement in efficiency of activity.
Communication of findings/results to key stakeholders to help inform marketing decisions.
Manage the creative process within your area, ensuring the brief is met and delivers against objectives set.
Brief and manage external suppliers to ensure brief/objectives are met on time and within agreed budget.
Understand the profile of customers, and value of these customers. Use these findings to feed into DM campaigns and adjustments to current campaigns where appropriate.
Understanding of other demand areas of the business(e.g. Outbound) using your knowledge and expertise to help influence, guide these areas to ensure all possible opportunities to drive demand are being met.
Cost management of campaigns within agreed budget.
Knowledge and Experience required:
CIM diploma in Direct Marketing.
5 years plus experience in digital marketing - including campaign tracking software
Experience in SQL advantageous.
5 years Past experience of delivering DM campaigns
Organisational and time management.
Negotiation & influencing.
Management of the companies IPA addresses to ensure address management is fully optimised and meets best practice.
Ability of improving open, click through rates of HTML emails.
Clear understanding of effective construction of HTML emails to drive open rate and deliver ROI.
Experience of sending Email and SMS.
Excellent eye for design.
Problem identification and solving.
Sharp eye for detail.
Giving and receiving feedback.
Experience of providing data and analysis with interpretation, under strict deadlines.
Advance skills in Excel (including pivot tables and V-look-ups).
Possess strong and professional communications both verbal and written.
