Display Manager, Global Media Agency, Manchester City Centre, £30k

Forward Role are proud to be working with this exceptional media agency based in the centre of Manchester who are looking for a Display Manager to join the team as a pivotal member of their Northern offering.

As Display Manager you will be responsible for the end to end planning and delivery of Display campaigns, being the go-to person for Display in the Manchester office. Your role will involve a mix of programmatic planning, reporting and client services. You’ll have close links with the agency’s London office and work alongside their Display & Programmatic teams.

Due to recent growth and new client wins the team is expanding and this is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established digital team where you will have the chance to grow a team around you as the agency continues to expand. As Display Manager you will be responsible for analysing client briefs and turning them into actionable delivery plans in order to plan and activate programmatic campaigns.


  • Manage multiple display channel advertising campaigns
  • Regularly present results to clients and lead meetings where needed
  • Grow strong relationships with key media owners to access best opportunities
  • Take a lead with for the planning, booking, and reporting processes related to Display across all the agencies clients
  • Ensure that best-practice planning processes are followed at all times in order to produce best-in-class media plans
  • Effectively manage client budgets, through planning, optimisation, and reconciliation excellence in the planning and delivery of Display
  • Be comfortable with having full ownership of Display planning and take a lead with the growth of your team.

For this position you will need to be experienced in managing Display campaigns, with a proven knowledge of programmatic planning and technology. The ability to spot new opportunities is key and a commercial awareness of both the financial and administrative process. Alongside this, as Display Manager you will have experience with DoubleClick, Adobe, TGI etc and will have a background across both direct response and brand campaigns.
