Our client is a well-known retail brand based in Manchester, looking for an experienced, customer-focussed and commercially driven Ecommerce Director with a track record of managing and implementing ecommerce strategy and driving large digital teams to commercial success.
The purpose of the role is to lead on the digital transformation through all performance marketing channels and ecommerce to create a single customer vision. You’ll oversee the day to day management of all ecommerce websites ensuring the UX is up to business standards. You will work closely with the Brand and Tech teams to formulate a consolidated e-commerce plan that supports the wider business strategy.
You’ll be responsible for structuring an innovative and cutting edge e-commerce strategy, reporting into one of the Managing Directors and leading an overall team of around 80 people across various teams in performance marketing, e-commerce and product, who thrive on working collaboratively.
You’ll have a background that combines rigorous ecommerce strategy and a proven ability to think creatively and independently, with superb communication skills, and a strong ability to form effective working relationships across a range of cultures and contexts.
