Forward Role are working with one of the largest educational resource providers in the UK with their search for an Events Manager.
They are looking for a customer centric events manager to work closely with the Marketing team and be responsible for planning, implementing and managing all events. The perfect candidate will lead all their events in the educational sector and wider business marketplace, attend a wide range of conferences and forums for all our prospect customers, to create strong lead generation and build brand awareness amongst UK schools and education establishments.
æ Full planning, implementation and management of the events programme including pre and post campaign plans, setting clear objectives and KPI measures on performance to measure the return on investment
æ Attendance at all events, exhibitions, forums and sponsorship opportunities across the educational/schools sector maximising investment and to make good use of the events budget you will own
æ Delivery of a tiered events tool-kit to cover stand architecture, collateral and promotional items (on-stand and pre/post content)
æ Working really closely with the Marketing, Creative and PR Partners to deliver fresh, unique and lead generative opportunities and to exceed targets, improve conversion tactics and promotion of events to the schools/education business community
æ Development and implementation of new ROI driven event strategies, including regular review and analysis – getting the best we can from what we offer
æ Identify, secure and promote speakers, special guests, and/or the appropriate corporate entertainment for each event
æ Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent, mature and ‘different’ experiences
æ Analyse the success of each event, propose improvements and futureproof the events model for this unique and specialist marketplace
æ Passionate about creating and delivering successful event campaigns
æ Commercially driven, self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a great team in a positive culture
æ Have a "Can-Do" approach to solving marketing challenges and balancing complex workloads
æ Tenacious, determined and able to break through challenges to get the job done
æ Strong project management and organisational skills
æ Experience in event planning and management, including speaker outreach and vendor relationships
æ Amazing communicator on all platforms including social media with a high attention to detail
æ Degree or equivalent working experience
