A rapidly expanding and well-backed Tech4Good business are recruiting for a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer, who can develop across their core stack, everything from user interfaces to writing APIs for their distributed microservices based architecture. You’ll be working in a collaborative, autonomous and cross-functional environment, playing a key role in the shaping of the company engineering culture and practices.

The business are a cloud based SaaS software provider, who have sustainability at the heart of their software, which will be a driving force in reducing the carbon footprint of businesses across the UK. 35 heads at the moment, they want to reach 90 by the end of 2023 and have the backing of a billion pound company to do so.

They plan to explore/implement; IOT, AI/ML, create an event space, build an agnostic tech environment, contribute to the London tech eco-system and build a world-class engineering environment. You, as the Senior Engineer can be at the heart of this.

• Define, create and develop new features.
• Work closely with POs, BAs and the Principal to define requirements.
• Participate In all areas of the SDLC.
• Conduct code reviews.
• Perform POCs to validate technical decisions.

Experience you’ll need:

• Java and Spring Boot.
• Microservices.
• Exposure to Typescript, Javascript and React.
• Knowledge of Docker, AWS and Git.
• AWS, Terraform.
• Postgres.

Salary + Benefits: Package up to £108,000. Annual salary review, training budget, hybrid, pension, life assurance, interest free loan, mental wellbeing care.
