Head of Digital Marketing


Hybrid working 3 days office based per week (with occasional travel monthly to London)

£60k-£70k + Benefits

As the Head of Digital Marketing, you will play a critical role in shaping our brand's online presence, driving customer engagement, and achieving marketing objectives. You will lead external digital agencies and also a small but growing digital team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and leverage innovative digital marketing techniques to achieve business objectives in a competitive market. Key responsibilities of a Head of Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the brand's overall marketing and business goals.
  • Lead a team of digital marketing specialists, providing strategic guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Drive the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including Paid Search (PPC) search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media, email marketing, content marketing, and display advertising.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as product management, sales, and finance to ensure digital marketing efforts are aligned with product launches, promotional activities, and revenue targets.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and drive data-driven decision making.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and optimize digital marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and allocate digital marketing budgets effectively, ensuring ROI and efficient resource allocation across channels.

Head of Digital Marketing key skills:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of digital marketing channels, techniques, and best practices.
  • Experience of overseeing a digital team or managing external agencies
  • In-depth knowledge of paid search (PPC), search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and display advertising.
  • Proficient in analysing data and utilizing marketing analytics tools to measure campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
