Head of Digital Growth Marketing
Based in Liverpool with hybrid of remote and office based working after September 2021.

High growth business with sizable team where you’ll be driving the direction of the businesses growth through all aspects of online marketing.
This is an important hire for our Client as you’ll be joining the businesses leadership team where you’ll position yourself as a thought leader within the business. You’ll be responsible for three direct reports across digital marketing (online brand, acquisition and eCommerce teams) with further responsibility for in-direct reports. With invest available to be channelled into the business, you’ll be able to influence stakeholders the best use of this across your departments!
The business has been on high growth for a number of years and sees this role as an integral piece to their jigsaw as they look continue on their trajectory and are looking for someone who can really shape what the business does into the future years of continued growth. You will be instrumental from leading from the front for all things digital and online related where you will need to make data led marketing decision from building out strategy across the UK, US and ROW locations whilst partnering with internal and activation teams to implement your strategy.
You’ll take ownership of growth marketing from digital acquisition through to conversion and retention, including high level performance marketing and brand marketing strategies.
It would ideal if you have worked in a fast paced environment previous either within eCommerce / retail or within a high growth business or within a tech start up environment as we’re keen to secure the right person for this role!
As the Head of Digital Growth Marketing you will be responsible for:
Owning, delivering and shaping the digital growth marketing strategy and plan across end to end marketing channels
Owning full-funnel growth marketing objectives and KPIs, managing performance and delivery of these goals and developing appropriate metrics as our strategy evolves.
Leading and growing the growth marketing team; set clear direction, build alignment and create a positive team culture that allows you to build, engage, develop and retain a top team
Overseeing performance of acquisition and retention across a full range of channels, developing strategies that deliver increased revenue
Identifying, testing, and scaling new growth opportunities and tactics across the funnel, taking an experimental approach to optimising performance and driving growth
Oversee website performance, working closely with eCommerce Manager to optimise conversion through experiments and CRO programme
Work with International Manager to translate/convert strategy into international markets and deliver growth
The key skills of the Head of Digital Growth Marketing will ideally have:
Track record of achieving high growth in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
Experience in developing marketing strategies and plans
Strong strategic understanding of brand marketing in addition to digital performance marketing
Strong leadership skills and experience in leading marketing teams
Proficient in interpreting and utilising data to inform strategy and tactics and draw insights
High level experience with analytical tools
Good knowledge of and demonstrable experience in driving acquisition growth across a range of paid and non-paid channels
Experience developing retention strategies to increase repeat business and LTV
Demonstrable track record of working in an environment where you have either directly or worked closely with a CRO team to increase conversion on-site
Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources to deliver maximum ROI from activities
Experience using frameworks to prioritise and measure impact of work, tests, initiatives.
Knowledge of or experience working with a CRM
