I’m working with a high growth B2C / B2C business recognised as one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK right now and here is your opportunity to be part of the next stage of that growth. You will develop, manage and own the marketing strategy and lead a high performing team of digital experts whilst working as part of the leadership team to make strong business decisions on direction and future growth, both in the UK and Internationally. This incredible organisation has a foot in the B2C and B2B camps so understanding both will be important to the success of the role.
Here are some key responsibilities:
Own, shape and deliver the strategic marketing plan
Deliver full metrics and KPIs for the department managing performance and deliver against goals
Lead and grow the marketing team – set strategy, incentives, build alignment an create a positive working culture
Oversee customer acquisition and retention across the business in the B2B and B2C areas
Identify new growth opportunities – test and learn, scale, develop, taking an experimental approach whilst optimising performance
Working closely with the Ecommerce team to manage web performance and build sales
Use data-led decision making to find the best option
Manage the team across Content/Social, SEO, Acquisition, E-commerce
Person required:
Experience in marketing at leadership level with track record of achieving high growth in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
Experience in developing marketing strategies and plans and leading a function
Proven experience with ecommerce and international ecommerce
Strong strategic understanding of brand marketing in addition to digital performance marketing, with the ability to combine these into a cohesive and effective vision
Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage a team
Proficient in interpreting and utilising data to inform strategy and tactics and draw insights
High level experience with analytical tools
Good knowledge of and demonstrable experience in driving acquisition growth across a range of paid and non-paid channels
