Head of Software Engineering – Greenfield Site

I’m working with a PE backed B2B business who are embarking on a period of transformational activity.  The business has recently built out a long term business strategy that will make them become a leading name in contact centre technology.  The Chief Product Officer has quickly build out a product roadmap and now requires the support of a talented Head of Engineering to help him deliver the technology.  This is a real greenfield site and requires an individual to strategies, architect and develop products from scratch.  You’ll be backed heavily with budget to grow teams, but in 1^st instance you will remain able and capable of designing and creating a code base from scratch.  Language and architecture will be defined by this role.  The role has a clear and concise route to a CTO role, and requires someone who can create and define initially, but also has the desire to sit at board level in the medium term.  Experience of working in a start/scale up environment would be advantageous, but far from essential.  This really is a role that would suit a Lead Engineer with aspirations of gaining the big job!

The business are based in South Manchester and work to a hybrid Model.  The role is paying £90-100k plus a really solid set of benefits.
