An award winning Fintech business in Manchester City centre, with a reputation for having the most exciting tech projects in the City that not many people know about, are looking to boost their 20 strong development team with a new Java Software Engineer. You will be heavily involved in a Java 11 migration, working towards a full suite of Microservices all deployed with AWS.

With offices in 3 locations and 300 employees, this high-growth Fintech have been on a huge digital transformation project (re-writing their whole stack), and the successful Java Software Engineer will play an integral part in the continued technical advancement of this business and their technology estate. Future plans involve the utilisation of AI and Machine Learning to evolve their product.

Fully remote at the moment, the business will eventually offer this as a part-remote position, so you’ll get a chance to work in a modern office space, refurbished purposely with their Engineers in mind.

The Java Software Engineer will be working in the following environment/tech stack:

  • Java 8 +
  • Spring Boot.
  • Microservices.
  • AWS.
  • MongoDb.
  • Reddis.
  • Elasticsearch.
  • Jenkins CI/CD.

As a Java Software Engineer in this business you will be expected to work closely with the Scrum Masters, PM’s and the UI/UX teams to plan and deliver development activities.
