Due to the company’s continued growth, we are currently looking for a Junior Copywriter to join a well-established footwear brand and be a part of a passionate, agile and creative brand marketing team. They require a strong dynamic and meticulous individual with a love for writing, as well as being exceptionally organised and creative. The successful candidate will support in the development of their content strategy, bringing the brand to life through the creation of engaging and creative written content.

The well-established company offers a wide range of footwear to a demographic of 55+ with the goal to treat their customers equally regardless of their age!

As a Junior Copywriter you will report directly to the brand marketing manager and work together with the brand, performance marketing, Ecommerce and the design/buying/merchandising teams.

Requirements:

  • Live and breathe the brands tone of voice, ensuring all copy aligns to this. Champion consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Create compelling product descriptions, headlines, editorial features and marketing copy for all on and offline campaigns. Including product copy, intro spreads, letter copy, emails, store POS, web content, social and press/media advertising.

  • Generating and curating innovative editorial content to inspire and engage our customers, creating brand awareness and meeting marketing requirements in order to achieve business goals.

  • Work closely with design, buying and merchandising teams to understand the collection inspiration and product details.

  • Take product briefs each season; and create and maintain an up-to-date central copy library.

  • Maintain our seasonal content and story plan, across all channels including on site, app, and social.

  • Implement Search Engine Optimisation best practice for all digital content.

  • Own and run the measurement framework of content, in order to monitor content health; working with analytics and the Brand Marketing Manager for continuous improvement in the content development process

  • Fact-check and proof-read written work to ensure it is accurate and correct ensuring language used is 100% up to date, relatable and relevant to our customer

The office space is located in Skelmersdale but they are super flexible with working from home and would only require you to be in the office a couple of days a week!!
