Forward Role are working with an award winning, industry leading, B2C Finance business with huge growth ambitions who are looking to add to their growing marketing team of 40.

They are on the lookout for a Marketing Automation Manager, with Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, to join the CRM team in designing, refining, and overseeing a strategy for communicating with customers, aiming to achieve both commercial and customer-related goals.

This opportunity is perfect for a skilled CRM Automation expert with a strong track record of successfully executing CRM projects within a data-driven marketing setting.

The main focus of the role centers around leveraging data and automation to strategize, create, and execute targeted CRM campaigns, ensuring precise delivery of the right message to the appropriate customers, through optimal channels, and at the most opportune moments.


  • Utilize data and leverage the capabilities of the CRM platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to design, develop, and deploy personalized, multi-channel campaigns and customer journeys on a large scale.
  • Ownership of data extensions/queries and automate audience selection for maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Data team to ensure access to necessary data, models, and segmentation for effective customer targeting.
  • Work alongside the Analytics team to plan and conduct A/B testing, identifying and implementing campaign performance and ROI enhancements.
  • Champion the operational quality control process, guaranteeing the compliant, accurate, and efficient delivery of data and audience selections.
  • Drive operational efficiencies through automation and process enhancements.

What you will need:

  • Experience with CRM in a data focused marketing capacity
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with marketing automation technologies (SQL, HTML, CSS)
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, delivering, and optimizing multi-channel communications, both automated and manual
  • Experience of translating data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in applying robust test and learn methodologies for performance optimization.
  • Analytical and data-driven mind-set
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with a regulatory or finance environment is desirable but not essential
