Due to a period of huge growth this private equity backed retail organisation is looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join their team.

This role is real opportunity to be part of a business that gives back by providing 2.8 million Health Service workers, Carers, Teachers and Charity workers discounts on almost a 1000 brands.

This is a very well established company that has been around for 20 years and engagement from their customers increased during the pandemic and continues to do so. They have secured funding for 2021 for especially for brand awareness and brand building so it’s a really exciting time to join!

You will be joining a performance marketing business and sit within a marketing team of 20. You will sit in the Acquisition team and report into the Head of Acquisition. This is a new role that is responsible for developing and growing their Outreach program to increase brand awareness, drive new member growth, and engage with existing members.

This business prides itself on progressing its staff. Two senior members of the Digital Marketing function, including the Head of Acquisition who you would report into, started off in similar Exec level roles some years back and are now operating as Heads of – the proof is in the pudding!

Key Responsibilities

  • Own, develop and grow the outreach strategy, key goals, and objectives.
  • Responsible for growing the contacts list, developing leads, and successfully on boarding new partners into the outreach program.
  • Be the primary contact for partners, with responsibility for building relationships.
  • Work with existing partner app providers to promote our schemes and developing new opportunities.
  • Work with the Design Team and Email Team to create and distribute monthly digital content packs to feature in partner’s internal comms.
  • Source and attend key exhibitions and develop new relationships through networking.
  • Utilise LinkedIn to network and find new leads.
  • Work with the Web Team to create unique landing pages for partners.
  • Work closely with other key stakeholders to make improve to the current outreach program.
  • Regular reporting on business KPIs.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing environment.
  • A confident marketer who is comfortable with both online and offline marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to take calls, attend events, network, and develop relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to devise and implement business strategies.
  • Strategic, results-driven, and commercially astute with a proven record of negotiation.
  • A hands-on self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
  • Exceptional planning, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong team player – sets the example with proven work ethic and capable of monitoring workflow.
  • Proactive attitude, creative thinker, and idea generator, not afraid to challenge the norm.
  • Motivated to learn and develop your career.
