Forward Role are working with a one of its kind Alcohol Distillery and Bar to recruit a Marketing Guru to drive national/ international awareness of their brand across multiple sales channels.

Manchester's first registered distillery, they are distillers/ bottlers of craft and volume spirits such as Gin, Rum, Gin liqueurs, Rum liqueurs, Absinthe and other alcoholic products.

All their products are distilled to the highest standards in their multi-million pound distillery and state of the art high speed bottling line. They are renowned for their innovative recipes and USPs with several world first products such as Parma Violet gin and Ruby Chocolate Rum.

They’re looking for an experienced marketeer, someone that’s looking to make a difference and can think on their feet and out of the box.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with their target audiences across wholesale, on and off trade accounts in the UK.
  • Work with the management team to develop marketing plans, on/ offline advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
  • Source advertising opportunities and place adverts/ advertorials in the press publications to reach their target audience.
  • Work closely with in-house or external creative partners to design marketing materials such as NPD, labelling, brochures and adverts. If you have photoshop or photographic experience even better!
  • Write and proofread all marketing copy across their brand portfolio.
  • Produce creative content, including videos, product photos, blog posts and social content
  • Manage social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tik Tok and Pinterest) in order to drive up engagement across the board.
  • Liaise with relevant partners to organise photo shoots.
  • Send out mail merged channel specific emails to customer base (B2B/ B2C).
  • Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires, phone calls or working with the sales team to gather market or other data.

What you will need:

  • The ability to develop and implement a marketing strategy across multiple brands.
  • Review of marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to ensure ROI/ KPIs are being achieved and campaigns are cost effective.
  • Weekly or monthly reports for the senior management team
  • Competitor activity and the impact/ next steps required to raise brand awareness.
  • How you have managed events, editorial requests, presentations, press relationships and promotional materials.
  • Experience of photography/ design and relevant marketing software platforms
  • Experience of working within the food and drinks sector preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter and happy to work within a wider team or independently.
