Marketing Insight Analyst

Forward Role are working with a well-established technology provider who have experienced growth every single year since they were founded. The business are recruiting a Marketing Insight Analyst to discover, pull and deliver insights from a variety of data sources to help drive marketing campaigns impact an effectiveness. You will be getting to know the customer inside out, understanding what works and doesn’t work by measuring, evaluating and optimising marketing activity. You will be using the data to spot opportunities, and making recommendations to guide marketing strategy around demographics, geography and channels.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Extracting actionable insight from a variety of data sources to identify opportunities and optimise marketing ROI
  • Reviewing and analysing marketing activity, utilising test & learn and identifying what works and areas what doesn’t / areas of improvement
  • Working closely with 3rd party agencies, across media, segmentation and marketing reporting to understand and paint the bigger picture
  • Developing and delivery of marketing and sales reports and dashboards, with presentation to stakeholders at all levels
  • Support the CRM team to ensure they have the tools and capabilities to execute marketing plans and campaigns

Skills & experience:

  • Experience in a Marketing Insight driven role
  • Experience with Excel / Power BI / Tableau is ideal
  • Comfortable working with large data sets, analysing and interpreting the data
  • Customer segmentation experience
  • Proven ability to evaluate marketing activity, measure results, testing and attribution
  • Pull insights from data and communicate through the business
  • CRM experience (Salesforce) would be ideal but not essential
