Marketing Manager

Our client is a FinTech preparing for scale-up and this Marketing Manager role is pivotal to their growth plan as they accelerate their UK expansion. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and own a marketing plan that defines, tracks and drives Key Performance Indicators e.g.:
    • Inbound and outbound leads
    • Brand recognition
    • Website and social traffic
    • SEO
    • Sales cycle time)
  • Develop live, clear reporting capabilities using modern marketing technologies and applications
  • Design, build, implement and continuously improve inbound marketing campaigns using modern marketing technologies to build up to hundreds of inbound leads every month
  • Manage a content creation plan which ensures a stream of quality, relevant content developed by yourself, colleagues and third parties such as:
    • Social posts
    • eMails
    • Videos
    • Blogs
    • Press
    • Case studies
    • Infographics
    • Webinars
    • Podcasts
    • Industry forums
    • White papers
  • Liaise with partners and prospects and create web, email and social campaigns to drive participation in online events, podcasts, webinars and workshops
  • Engage prospects over multiple channels including social (particularly LinkedIn), email and phone
  • Ensure Marketing is completely connected to Sales ensuring all activities and reporting are synchronised and support the sales strategy and end to end process
  • Enhance and manage our website messaging to engage our market and promote our proposition and identity as a leading UK FinTech
  • Provide relevant marketing and sales collateral to aid sales conversion at every stage of the sales process
  • Improve and manage our prospect database, creating a comprehensive database that includes prospect lifecycle stage, segmentation and customer persona type
  • Lead and manage SDR function to also drive outbound lead generation as part of the overall marketing plan.
  • Three years’ plus in B2B marketing and content creation
  • Able to create, complete and measure effective B2B marketing plans 
  • Strong data analysis skills that can convert numbers into insights and recommendations
  • Can manage and maximise a marketing budget and team resources or outside support
  • Skilled in using modern marketing applications and technologies like marketing automation, marketing analytics, email, website management and CRM software (ideally including Hubspot)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A great eye for detail and correctness
  • Leadership.

Competencies

  • Three years’ plus in B2B marketing and content creation
