Marketing Manager

We’re currently assisting a growing tech scale-up who have recently received substantial investment to grow their business further.

As part of this growth they need to recruit an energetic and capable B2B Marketing Manager to help achieve  their targets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build, deliver and own the PR and marketing plan; ensuring go-to-market campaigns and activity are delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Drive incremental business pipeline whilst keeping a close eye on costs and delivering / reporting on ROI where possible
  • Ensure synergy between the sales and marketing teams, aligning objectives and outputs
  • Evolution of the brand strategy and visual identity / ensuring brand consistency of all communications and marketing materials
  • Develop a deep understanding of the target audience / prospects and deliver work that resonates and overcomes pain points
  • Work closely with product and sales teams to support with the messaging development of a range of products and solutions
  • End-to-end delivery of marketing activity from planning and briefing, right through to delivery and evaluation, including the development and execution of vendor marketing plans
  • Pitch plans to vendors to secure necessary MDF budget, ensuring all activity is compliant for funding claims, and monitor the value to the business vs cost
  • Organise and attend industry events and exhibitions
  • Manage the external marketing and PR agency; pushing our partners to deliver their best output
  • Ongoing management of internal stakeholders

Required experience:

  • Previous experience of planning marketing strategies and campaigns in a B2B environment (ideally IT / technology sectors), including proven experience of driving incremental business pipeline
  • Previous experience of managing and evolving a brand and visual identity
  • Proven experience of developing vendor marketing strategies and investment requests
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively to meet changing priorities
  • Extremely organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and strong engagement skills
  • Commercially aware
  • A problem solver who can listen and translate requirements into hard-hitting marketing activity
  • Hubspot CRM / marketing automation experience would be advantageous
