Marketplace Manager - Hybrid - Manchester

Forward Role have partnered with a leading outdoor apparel brand seeking a skilled and experienced Marketplace Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Marketplace Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital sales growth and enhancing the customer experience on Amazon. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to increase online sales, optimize conversion rates, and improve customer engagement.

Your expertise in Marketplace management will be crucial in ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience for customers. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform, managing product listings, pricing, inventory, and promotions.


  • Management and optimization of Amazon A+ enhanced content

  • Daily oversight of the Amazon brand store, including updates, expansions, and performance reporting

  • Enhancing and optimizing individual or grouped listings, monitoring rankings, and conducting analysis

  • Generating marketplace sales reports and conducting forecasting

  • Developing and implementing product promotions, managing marketing campaigns, and pricing offers

  • Handling marketplace account verification and support tickets, serving as the primary point of contact for escalation issues

  • Collaborating with internal teams to maximize the utilization of optimal product media online

  • Coordinating with our fulfillment team to ensure live and in-stock Amazon inventory

  • Conducting market and competitor analysis, providing proposed responses, and identifying business opportunities

  • Exploring and proposing new marketing strategies on marketplaces, including preparing business cases for implementation

  • Direct customer interaction across marketplace and social channels

Skills Required:

  • Prior experience with Amazon Vendor and Amazon Seller platforms

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce business operations

  • Previous exposure to various marketing techniques and strategies

  • Excellent communication skills with both external and internal stakeholders

  • Analytical mindset with a solid understanding of ROI and commercial awareness

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload and multitask effectively
