Paid Social Director –Global Media Agency- Specialist performance team, £45,000
Forward Role are proud to be partnering exclusively with a global media agency based in Manchester City Centre who over the last 12 months have created a new performance team in the North. With the expansion of the team, they are looking for a Paid Social Media Director to support the Head of the Manchester office and wider PPC and Paid Social team aligning biddable activity across the agencies within the group.
This is a senior role where you’ll be at the forefront of testing new technology and softwares across all social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc) which will be passed on to the wider agency group and will help establish best-practise across biddable channels. Proven experience of Paid Social is a given, as is experience of on-site analytics and platforms. Whilst the role is Director in title, it would suit a Manager who is still enjoys being hands-on with accounts whilst involving themselves with wider client decisions.
You'll work on global blue-chip clients & this agency are looking for someone with proven experience of being hands-on with accounts, activating in platform in addition to social planning and strategy. The team has grown impressively to just under 10 in less than a year, so the progression opportunities are brilliant with scope to have a real say on the growth of the team!

As Paid Social Director you will:
- Be a Paid Social expert, with a proven career history of biddable activity (ideally some knowledge of PPC and/or Display but not a given)
- Have hands on ability, setting up campaigns, optimising, reporting etc
- Be agile and a lover of trying/testing new ways of doing things
- Be inquisitive and be willing to get stuck in!
- Show a commercially driven mind
- Be experienced with ad serving platforms, bid management platforms and skilled across Google AdWords and Analytics
Working alongside the London and Manchester teams within the group you’ll have responsibility for owning senior client relationships and will support on client campaigns, meaning you’ll need to be comfortable being hands-on with paid media activity. As Paid Social Media Director you’ll take ownership for implementing technology and data solutions and own the biddable budget for planning across social.
