Forward Role are exclusively partnering with an innovative, multi-award winning B Corp certified FinTech services business based in stunning offices in the heart of Manchester City Centre. The business enables the team to work autonomously and they pride themselves on their innovative and data driven culture, and after an incredible couple of years of consistent and profitable growth are now on the lookout for their first ever PPC Manager.
Working alongside of an award-winning digital agency who will be running the day to day activations, your role will be to push the paid search strategy forward and in time, set up the display, programmatic and paid social accounts as the look to aggressively push their performance marketing strategy forward – it’s a very exciting time indeed! There is absolute appetite to bring the accounts in house from agency in the medium term, in which you would be paramount in heading up this change and also have the opportunity to grow out your own in house paid team…
Your day to day will look like:
- Manage and optimize paid search across multiple channels and platforms, including Google and Bing, with scope to move into display and programmatic in the future.
- You will oversee all daily operations and including, account structure, keyword research, ad copy testing, bid management, conversion tracking, performance against budget, insights and reporting and competitor benchmarking.
- Budget management - Manage and monitor advertising budgets to ensure efficient and effective use of spend, closely monitoring performance vs targets with attention to detail on ROAS and margin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and analytics, to ensure campaigns are aligned with the company's overall marketing strategy and brand identity
- Be a Subject Matter Expert within the marketing team and the key point of contact across the business for PPC.
- Working with the businesses in-house CRO team, review landing pages and customer journey, advising on opportunities for improvements and tests.
Your skills & background:
- 3+ years of experience in paid search marketing, with an in-depth knowledge of the mechanics of making PPC successful – either in house or agency backgrounds considered, all industries both eCommerce and LeadGen also considered
- Proven track record of driving growth and revenue through paid search campaigns and achieving cost per acquisition targets
- Ability to think strategically as well as tactically in faced paced environment
- An excellent working attitude with an ability to work well both in teams and independently
- You'll need an excellent attention to detail to effectively handle multi-million-pound budgets, focusing on efficiency and driving future growth.
