Fully remote – 1 visit to Preston office a month

A family run and family-friendly cultured Online Retailer have had huge success since their inception 10 years ago, growing both in headcount and turnover at an immense rate especially in recent times. Joining a close-knit and friendly Digital Marketing team, you’ll get hands-on with a variety of ad platforms including: Google, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, Criteo and more.

The business is happy for the postholder to work fully remotely, other than a once a month visit to the Preston office for the monthly Marketing presentation. If you’d prefer to be in the office more, they’d love to see you work on a hybrid basis too!

Historically, the team have relied on agencies to carry out the initial process of setting up campaign structures and strategies, but are  now looking to create an in-house team of marketing gurus to take the business forward and continue the momentum gained from the last two years.

With new product launches and new advertising channels being considered, the role will offer a continually challenging and varied landscape and would suit someone with a passion for the industry and drive to excel.

Responsibilities include:

•Build profitable e-commerce and lead generation campaigns from scratch using the likes of Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Microsoft Ads and Facebook Ads

•Creation & implementation of PPC Campaigns (including search, shopping & display) across all platforms

•Perform daily/weekly/monthly management & review of PPC activity across all platforms

•Continually manage and optimise campaigns for best results and ROAS

•Handling six-figure budgets and working towards KPIs

•Constantly review all campaigns to ensure maximum performance

•Reporting, analysing and interpreting data to display performance effectively

•Effectively manage bids, quality scores, placements, audiences, negative keywords etc. to provide the best performance

•Perform keyword research, keyword creation and effective ad copy creation

•Supporting the wider marketing team to ensure that traffic objectives are being met and conversion opportunities are being optimised

•Analysis and review of the online sales and conversion activity and metrics, including completion of all required weekly and ad hoc reports

•Keep up-to-date with industry trends

Essential Skills and Experience:

•Proven 1+ year PPC / Paid Social experience (for e-commerce & lead generation)

•Knowledge of least 1 ad platform - Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Microsoft Ads

•Experience handling five-to-six figure budgets

•Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

•Highly motivated and positive individual with a strong work ethic
