Process Improvement Specialist - Chorley - £40K

A small and growing financial company, who are at the beginning of a large scale, company wide digital transformation are looking for a Process Improvement Specialist (Ideally some exposure to finance / banking or governance) to join as a key player to help drive this transformation.
The role will have a large amount of creative freedom and will suit someone who is keen to take ownership of projects and the Project Management function.

The company have an ambitious 5 year plan in place, with excellent funding and for the right person, this is an outstanding opportunity to make a real difference in an organisation.

Ideal skills / experience:

  • Solid experience of delivering project management within financial services
  • The ability to understand complex, business-wide challenges and then lead the development of solutions that address these challenges
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle principles - structured waterfall and agile approaches
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to be able to conceptualise and manage business change
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to engage, challenge and work collaboratively with colleagues of all levels
  • Prince 2, AgilePM and equivalent accreditations
  • Experience using project tools such as MS Project
  • Excellent understanding and extensive experience of the Financial Services sector.
  • Must have strong PC and Software skills which to include Excel, Word and Power Point
  • An outstanding team player with the ability to motivate and lead
