Our client, an international charity have been embarking on a long term project to improve the way they work.

They have an opportunity for a Financial Systems Accountant to join their team to assist with some key projects.

You'll be responsible for preparing the global financial statements, the charity commission return and supporting in the yearend and audit process. Lead on the preparation of year-end financial reporting globally. 

leading on all key financial accounting related projects. These include leading  global stock project to improve all stock accounting processes worldwide. Lead on the annual leave reconciliation process improvements required for them to have an accurate picture of our staff costs to report to our donors and to ensure we are SORP compliant in our annual leave accrual valuations. Reconciling the financial statements to the management accounts. Lead on producing and developing key global KPIs which will measure the quality of financial control at country office level. To prepare the VAT return on a quarterly basis. To support on the bi-annual Financial Control and Compliance calls with the regions to ensure key risks are well captured and discussed effectively.

Ideally you will be:

Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

And also beneficial if you have used the Unit4 (Agresso) Finance System, or similar customisable Finance ERP application (eg SUN). 

Salary range is circa £45-50k depending on experience.
