I'm working with a growing organisation who are embarking on an exterprise scale digital transformation journey.  They have procured the services of a hugely talented Head of Change to implement strong change governance and to own the transformation strategy and are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join as a key player in the delivery of key initiatives.  The role will have a large amount of creative freedom and will suit someone who is keen to take ownership of projects and in the future, lead a project management practice.  The portfolio is mainly technology projects and so experience of delivering off the shelf software, core platforms and infrstructure would suit this role beautifully.

The company have an ambitious 5 year plan in place, with excellent funding and for the right person, this is an outstanding opportunity to make a real difference in an organisation.  You'll support the maturity of the change function and have real in put in to the future of change delivery.

Ideal skills / experience will include:

• The ability to understand complex, business-wide challenges and then lead the development of solutions that address these challenges
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle principles - structured waterfall and agile approaches
• Strong organisational and planning skills to be able to conceptualise and manage business change
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to engage, challenge and work collaboratively with colleagues of all levels
• Understanding of Prince 2, AgilePM and equivalent accreditations
• Experience using project tools such as MS Project
• An outstanding team player with the ability to motivate and lead

The company are based a stones throw from the M61 and so accessible from the whole of Lancashire and Greater Manchester, however flexible working will mean 1 day a week on site is all that's needed.
