A rapidly expanding and well-backed Tech4Good business, who deliver cloud-based SaaS are recruiting for a Senior Automation Engineer who can play an integral role in building out and designing an entire test function for a Java, Typescript and Javascript environment.

You will be given the opportunity to bring new ideas and implement them. You’ll be exposed to everything from strategy to delivery and be crucial to the development of an entirely new testing function as the business gear up for their MVP.

As one of the first Senior Automation Engineers in the team, you’ll be laying the foundations for a business who have some seriously exciting plans for the future, as they look to grow from 35 to 90 this year, as well as exploring new technologies such as; AI, ML and IOT.

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be:

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate ideas into production.

• Develop and evolve test plans for both front and back end applications.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines.

• Take ownership and drive the QA function.

• Create trusted and scalable automation scripts.

You will need the following experience:

• Be able to design and build automation frameworks from scratch.

• A background in Java, Typescript and Javascript.

• Test backend services such as; APIs, Databases and microservices.

• Knowledge of Git, GitHub actions and Docker.

• A background in QA.

• Knowledge of Jira and confluence.
