Job description

Senior CAD/ Product Designer, Greater Manchester, On Site – up to £60k

Are you an experienced Product/CAD designer/engineer seeking their next career step? If you have 5-10 years’ experience in the industry and are able to bring a wealth of technical expertise, a proven track record in product design, and the ability to complete projects from conception to launch – we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will be expected to develop comprehensive testing and validation protocols to ensure product performance, durability, and adherence to industry standards as well as be able to analyse test data, derive actionable insights, and implement design refinements to enhance product quality.  You ideally will be on site full time – there may be room for some flexibility on this dependant on circumstance.

SKILLS

• At least 5-10 years’ experience in the industry

• Engineering experience particularly in metal works/ electronics.

• Ability to collaborate closely with internal teams; design, marketing, and manufacturing, to translate product concepts into tangible designs.

• Continually look for ways to refine, improve and value engineer our products to make them easier to specify, install, maintain and provide parts and components for.
