Senior Content and Social Manager – Hybrid Lancashire

 It is a very exciting time to be joining one of the North West’s largest multi-channel retailer. They have a big plans and large marketing budgets after downsizing there retail stores to investing heavily in there online journey.

What will you be doing?

  • Create digital-first content strategies across multiple channels, including website, blogs, email, paid search and social media platforms.
  • Creating engaging campaign content for digital use
  • Develop, manage and execute a content calendar.
  • Devise creative campaign ideas.
  • Create various different types of content to be delivered across multiple channels, including video, written and visual
  • Ensure that the website is fully optimised for SEO purposes
  • Work with external agencies to ensure website content is SEO friendly to improve ranking
  • Conducting on-site SEO audits and competitor analysis
  • Centre on improving the CMS roadmap, customer journey and conversion across the website
  • Be an ambassador for the tone of voice for the brand across all channels
  • Write engaging and persuasive product and landing page content


Do you have?

  • Experience within a content focused role (agency/retail background)
  • Demonstrable success in SEO and understanding of SEO best practice
  • Experience planning and executing content strategies across a business with emphasis on ROI
  • Strong understanding of the impact of content on consumer behaviour and how it drives engagement through to acquisition and retention
  • Experience managing campaigns across websites, social media, email, SEO and paid channels
  • Extensive experience of producing and editing content for a range of digital channels
  • Experience of reporting with Google Analytics
