Forward Role are working with a women’s outdoor clothing online retailer who are on a mission to revolutionise all women’s experience of the outdoors and encourage more women to get outdoors.

By designing stylish and functional outdoor wear and striving towards a sustainable future for outdoor gear, they are breaking the mould in a market with limited options for women’s apparel and the “just make it smaller and pink” approach.

They have built a loyal community organically over the last few years and they are now ready to accelerate their growth and engagement by bringing someone on to the team to oversee their key customer communication touchpoints.

The newly created CRM & Marketing Executive role will manage their customer marketing communications, through email campaigns, flows, SMS, referral and loyalty and be an integral part of the Marketing team of 5, getting stuck in with larger brand projects and product releases.

This is an exciting role for someone who is ready to enhance their career by taking responsibility and development of a core marketing channel under the guidance of Head of Performance, as well as enhance their knowledge in wider digital marketing and fashion retail.

The role

  • You will have the opportunity to develop and build upon the customer communication campaigns.

  • Working closely with the rest of the marketing team you will have autonomy to create and optimise the CRM Marketing flows and campaigns, brainstorming content ideas, having input into creative design, understanding customer segments and analysing performance to best inform decisions moving forwards.

  • Beyond email you’ll also work across the customer review, referral and loyalty programmes ensuring seamless customer experience to guide customers from a first time purchase to becoming a loyal advocate of the business.

What you will need:

  • Experience in CRM marketing

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, Yotpo or similar

  • Experience working in a retail ecommerce environment and familiar with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms

  • A good understanding of Digital Marketing channels

  • Copywriting and content creation skills with excellent attention to detail

  • The ability to analyse and understand data, pick out trends and subsequent recommendations with proficiency in Excel and Google Analytics

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, juggling multiple projects and prioritizing where necessary

  • A natural communicator. You’re quick to build relationships and establish rapport with colleagues, mangers and agencies at all levels
