Senior CRM Executive (B2B)

Manchester, Birmingham or Nottingham

Circa £45,000

Hybrid working (2 days in the office and 3 from home)

Forward Role are working with an award winning Professional Services business to recruit a Senior CRM Executive (B2B).

With nationwide offices, they are a UK based business with a global reach. Their expertise covers diverse sectors such as real estate and construction, financial services, government, education, insurance, health, manufacturing and industrials, energy and infrastructure, and retail, consumer, and logistics.

This business uses InterAction as their CRM system to store client relationship data and facilitate ongoing client engagement.

It’s the teams ‘go-to’ to ensure everyone is aware of who knows who and any ongoing activity with client contacts. It also allows them to generate actionable reporting around this. It their platform for client mailings lists, to ensure the right marketing reaches the right audience.

This role is dedicated to managing the CRM system and overseeing the businesses interaction with it. It plays a pivotal role in their overall strategy, particularly their commitment to being a connector and driving their client and marketing initiatives forward.

What does the role entail?

  • Supporting the businesses strategy for CRM data by ensuring proper collection and utilization of data to meet client and marketing objectives.
  • Utilizing expertise to ensure that CRM facilitates business growth and exploring opportunities to enhance business processes and improve client experience.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop CRM according to ongoing business requirements, establishing a presence and actively engaging with lawyers and legal support teams to increase InterAction's visibility and engagement.
  • Providing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that highlight the benefits of using the CRM system for lawyers, focusing on advice and best practices rather than just statistics.
  • Taking responsibility for maintaining an up-to-date InterAction system, including data creation, cleansing, quality assurance, and integrity.
  • Defining and communicating best practice workflows, processes, and procedures for users.
  • Assisting with data-driven marketing campaigns, including mailing list provision or guidance on list building.
  • Managing relationships with third-party CRM suppliers, such as Lexis Nexis, including budget considerations, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of a CRM Assistant, ensuring workflow management, workplace well-being, and regular in-person office collaboration.
  • Ensuring compliance with Data Protection regulations, seeking guidance from data protection lawyers and the head of risk and compliance as necessary.
  • Collaborating with IT to ensure CRM system upgrades, bespoke integrations, user group considerations, and appropriate consultation. Ensuring proper functioning of CRM and server software, development and evaluation of requested changes, and appropriate sign-off before rollout.
  • Serving as a point of contact within the Client & Marketing team and across the firm, offering support, guidance, and best practices.
  • Occasional travel between offices may be required.

Person specification

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a CRM database, preferably in a professional services setting.
  • Preferably, comprehensive knowledge and experience with InterAction and Vuture.
  • Experience in implementing new CRM systems and associated engagement projects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements related to CRM.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in working with third-party suppliers and managing budgets.
  • Background in collaborating with IT departments.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Experience in reporting, data segmentation, and targeted marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and IT literacy.
  • Previous experience in line management or supervising an assistant is advantageous.
