Forward Role are working with a forward thinking retailer going through an exciting period of change with a huge digital transformation. Data and analytics is at the center of the project and so, the department it’s self is continuously developing and evolving whilst receiving big investment.

The team are looking for a Senior Customer Analyst, you will be working in the wider Customer focused team of experienced analysts and supporting decisions and activity across wider teams. You will need to be someone who thrives working in a team environment and be comfortable in building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to work in an innovative environment, and who wants to develop and improve their analytical, technical and communication skills.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Exploratory analysis, identifying key insights and supporting stakeholders to make data driven, informed decisions
  • Working with customer and transactional data
  • Transform complex data and analysis in to clear, easily digestible outputs – telling a story and identifying what is important to the stakeholder
  • Building the ‘complete picture’ of what is going on by combining analysis from customer, finance and market data
  • Building and implementing customer segmentations and models
  • Developing an understanding and delivering actionable insight in to customer behaviors across channels
  • Working closely with the data science team to develop more complex customer modelling and monitor the impact of campaigns and initiatives   

Role & responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of customer behavior analysis and insight
  • Experience using SQL is essential
  • Experience in Python, R, Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau would be ideal, but not essential
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to turn complex information in to accessible information
  • Statistical analysis understanding/knowledge
