Senior Data & Applications Manager - £75-90k

I’m working with a truly unique retail business who are currently investing heavily in to their technology estate.  They are looking for an established technology manager to own the future strategy for Applications (ERP/Middleware/EPOS) and Data (BI/MI/Reporting).  The role will take a strategic view of all technology outside of infrastructure, providing guidance around maximisation of existing tech suite and  looking at continuous improvement (and innovation) of business applications.  Whilst owning the roadmap and strategy for applications and data, you’ll be ably supported by a talented architect who can provide design authority and assist with aligning tech with the strategy,  You will be tasked with managing a small team of professionals (currently 3) and then be given budget to build internal capability, where required.  A huge part of this role will be to proactively manage all 3rd party relationships, making sure issues are triaged, backlogs are analysed and improvements are driven in an aligned manner.  Experience of managing ERP, EPOS, Middleware and Data partners would be hugely important. 

The role will require 2 days a week in South Manchester.
