We have a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract for a passionate Senior Marketing Manager who loves to get stuck in from the jump and has a keen interest within their craft. This role is paying £40k to £48kpa and you would be working on a Hybrid basis in either one of the Manchester or Oxford based offices, with most staff generally working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. This opportunity is working alongside a leading retailer in the UK and would be perfect for a generalist marketing manager who will support the head of marketing in day to day duties. You will be responsible for highlighting and critiquing where necessary on issues that are obstructing the business from growing as well as ensuring the relationships with external agencies are being adhered to. You will work across the general marketing mix and will be expected to not only maintain a strong relationship within your team but also be able to work autonomously at times.

About the role:

-        This is a multi-channel covering role, enabling you to get the opportunity to work alongside all channels within marketing as well as working and managing external agencies

-         As Senior Marketing Manager you’ll be expected to monitor KPI performance, identify where the company is progressing but also stagnating and therefore provide recommendations for improvement

-        You will be attending weekly business calls and meetings to advise and update on current performance and provide insight to current market trends

About you:

-        Solid marketing experience in a senior role – ability to be strategic and in the detail, using insights to make informed decisions

-        You have a keen interest within marketing, enthusiastic and looking to get into the depths of the role from day one

-        Happy to challenge when needs be, understand the importance of taking ownership when necessary

-        Having experience of working with multiple brands at once is advantageous

-        Puts yourself in the customers shoes, understands the importance of customer segmentation and fully understand the value of each individual customer
